Hi, I’m Julia! I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Nutritional Sciences from Penn State University, where I built a deep appreciation for evidence-based nutrition and personalized care. During my time, I had the amazing opportunity as a summer intern at Balanced- an experience that solidified my desire to work one-on-one with clients and support individuals in achieving their unique nutrition goals.
In my free time you’ll find me creating new recipes, exploring local coffee shops and restaurants, staying active, getting lost in a good book, catching up on my favorite tv series, or listening to nutrition podcasts.
Areas of Specialty
My areas of focus/interest include general nutrition, sports nutrition, eating disorders, and medical nutrition therapy. I am especially passionate about supporting individuals who want to improve health outcomes while honoring a sustainable and positive relationship with food. I have a growing clinical interest in gastrointestinal and hormonal health, recognizing the complex connection between our body’s systems and their impact on overall well-being.
Nutrition Philosophy
My philosophy centers on individualized, collaborative care. By meeting you where you are in your journey, I focus to build realistic and sustainable changes tailored to your goals and lifestyle. I am committed to helping you build confidence in your choices, develop a supportive relationship with nutrition and movement, and pursue progress in a way that feels steady, empowering, and balanced.
