Julie graduated from Wagner College in Staten Island, NY in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Arts Administration. After discovering her love for nutrition, she decided to pursue her Master of Science degree and graduated from Immaculata University in 2020, where she also completed her dietetic internship.
Julie has experience providing medical nutrition therapy for various disease states across the lifecycle in both long-term care and acute care settings. In August 2021, she accepted a Registered Dietitian position at The Renfrew Center of Philadelphia where she has been working with both adolescents and adults in the fight against eating disorders/disordered eating. Her nutrition philosophy is deep rooted in intuitive eating and she's devoted to helping each patient heal their relationship with food by eliminating food labels and promoting the "all foods fit" mentality.
In her free time, Julie loves going for long walks with her furry, four-legged friend - Ms. Moira Rose. She also enjoys trying new restaurants and experimenting with different foods and recipes. Though she's proud to be a dietitian, she's even more proud to be an aunt and values quality time with her family and friends.
