Lauren graduated with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Penn State University where she was also a four-year NCAA athlete on the track and cross country teams. She later completed her Dietetic Internship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts in 2017. Lauren worked at The Renfrew Center in Philadelphia for 3 years where she helped clients work towards food freedom and overall-wellbeing through a non-diet approach. Lauren is dedicated to the Health at Every Size approach and has experience working with athletes and clients with ARFID, Diabetes, autoimmune conditions, allergies/intolerances, and gastrointestinal disorders. Lauren’s style as a dietitian focuses on a candid, ‘down-to-earth’ relationship with her clients.
Lauren practices what she preaches by exploring new forms of self-care and joyful movement. Currently, Lauren is learning how to play acoustic guitar. And one of her favorite forms of physical activity is to get outside in nature for a backpacking trip.
