Rachel Petticord is a Registered Dietitian who specializes in the treatment of Eating Disorders.
Rachel earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition with a minor in Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University. Shortly after completing her undergraduate course work, Rachel was accepted into the Aramark Dietetic Internship Program. During this time, she completed one year of supervised practice required to take the Registration Examination for Dietitians.
After earning her RD, Rachel worked as a clinical dietitian at Lankenau Medical Center providing nutrition counseling in both inpatient and outpatient settings. While at Lankenau, Rachel focused on Critical Care, Diabetes education, and Oncology support.
Rachel’s interest in working with eating disorders began in college and continued to grow in the outpatient setting. Over the past 10 years, she has worked with clients at all levels of care from individual counseling to intensive outpatient, as well as partial hospitalization programming.
Rachel believes in food neutrality, flexibility with meals, and Intuitive eating practice. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and their English Bulldogs.
